We sincerely thank everyone who helps in the God-pleasing work of building the church of St. Paraskeva of Serbia in Zozulyany, Rybnitskiy District.

We would like to express special gratitude to Elena Nikolaevna Barnatna, the granddaughter of Hieromartyr George Klochan, for her efforts in Washington, D.C. to raise funds for construction of our church.

It is very dear to us that you are concerned about the pressing problems of our community and seek opportunities to provide charitable assistance.

Your good deeds serve as an example of fulfillment of the Christian commandment of love for one's neighbor, which is an expression of love for God himself.

We sincerely wish you and your loved ones both spiritual and physical wellbeing, peace and prosperity, and God's help in all your good endeavors and works of mercy!

Last Sunday, December 10, 2023, a charity dinner was held at St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Washington D.C. for the benefit of St. Paraskeva Church. Thanks to the efforts of the organizers, the guests were offered a delicious menu: baked salmon, rice with cranberries, Lenten pilaf, salads, tea, coffee, wine, and apple pie for dessert. One of the extra apple pies was sold at auction for $50! Despite the bad weather, many people came, and we managed to raise a substantial amount.

Late Glafira Georgievna Barnatnaya (Klochan), the daughter of the holy martyr priest George Klochan, who served in St. Paraskeva church, sang for many years in the choir at St. John the Baptist Cathedral. The Rector of the Cathedral, Father Victor Potapov, blessed the dinner. And now, in honor of her late mother Glafira and her grandfather, New Martyr George, Elena Barnatnaya is also trying to bring blessings to help St. Paraskeva Church in Zozulyany. The parish of St. Paraskeva Church expresses deep gratitude to Elena and her friends Elizabeth and Irina for organizing the event and preparing meals.
